SKIN TUMOR SURGERY IN THE DENTAL PRACTICE KU64 IN BERLIN

The number of benign and malignant skin tumors has increased significantly in recent years. People whose leisure activities are associated with frequent and long-lasting sun exposures are particularly affected.

In cases of suspicion, sampling and histological, fine-tissue assessment are necessary. Mothermoles, nevi, basaliomas, carcinomas and melanomas are removed in accordance with the latest tumour guidelines of the scientific societies DDG (German Dermatological Society and DGMKG (German Society for Oral, Jaw and Facial Surgery). In the case of a malignant tumor, an accurate, micrographic examination of the cutting edges is carried out to ensure that the tumor is completely removed.

After the Tumor removal the skin defects are closed plastically and surgically as unobtrusively as possible. On request, the interventions in twilight sleep anesthesia (analgosedation) take place.
