Same-day dental restorations with CEREC in Berlin

At KU64 Berlin, you’ll receive custom-made, high-quality ceramic restorations—gentle and fast—using the CEREC method. In just one appointment, our dental technicians craft veneers, inlays, fillings, multi-unit bridges, and crowns for front and back teeth, which can be placed immediately. Enjoy aesthetic restorations that are precise, durable, and naturally enhance your smile.

Crowns, inlays, bridges & more in one visit

CEREC stands for CEramic REConstruction. Using advanced CEREC technology—including digital scanning, CAD/CAM systems, a high-resolution camera, and a milling unit—natural-looking restorations can be designed and created within just a few hours. No more follow-up visits, uncomfortable impressions, or poorly fitting temporaries.

3D imaging instead of impressions

With the CEREC method, KU64 Berlin offers a restoration process that eliminates the need for traditional impression trays. Instead, a digital camera captures precise 3D images of your teeth. The CEREC software then evaluates the scans and generates tailored restoration suggestions. Throughout the process, the camera doesn’t touch the teeth, ensuring a gentle experience—free from gag reflex or unpleasant taste.

LONG-LASTING FILLINGS

Like our patients, we at KU64 Berlin value long-term tooth preservation. Small defects are often treated with composite fillings. However, in cases of major damage or fractured teeth, composite is often not durable enough under high pressure—especially in the back teeth. The risk of tooth fractures and extractions increases. That’s why we use ceramic for larger fillings. Ceramic is as strong as natural enamel, making it highly fracture- and wear-resistant. With full-ceramic CEREC inlays, your teeth stay protected long-term.

FAST & GENTLE: Benefits of CEREC at a glance

Compared to lab-made restorations, the CEREC method offers these patient benefits:

  • Speedy production: Partial crowns, single crowns, veneers, and inlays are completed in one session—cutting treatment time.

  • No impressions, no gag reflex: No need for conventional molds or trays.

  • No temporaries: No temporary restorations needed, meaning no open teeth for bacteria or food.

  • Biocompatibility: Ceramic resembles natural enamel and is safe—even for allergy sufferers.

  • No interactions: Full ceramic is metal-free, avoiding any metal-related reactions.

  • Durability & stability: Ceramic is long-lasting and maintains precision over years.

  • Natural aesthetics: Its translucency mimics real teeth—ceramic stays beautiful without discoloration or dark margins.

ONE-VISIT RESTORATIONS: THE CEREC TREATMENT PROCESS

At KU64 Berlin, your CEREC restoration is created in just one session—efficiently and precisely.

  1. Consultation & preparation
Your dentist selects the ideal shade to match your natural teeth. For best results, we recommend a professional cleaning to remove stains. The tooth is then prepped—old restorations and decay are removed, and the tooth is gently shaped. We preserve as much natural tooth structure as possible.
  2. 2. Digital impression
Using a high-resolution 3D CAD/CAM system, your dentist scans the prepared tooth and its neighboring teeth. The intraoral camera captures every detail in under a second—comfortably, while you stay seated.
  3. Restoration creation
A computer analyzes the scan data and calculates the design. A milling unit then carves your crown, inlay, veneer, or implant precisely from a ceramic block using fine diamond tools. Meanwhile, you can relax in our modern waiting lounge.
  4. Placement of the restoration
Within 15 to 20 minutes, your custom restoration is ready and placed using dental cement for a secure and long-lasting bond. You can immediately chew as normal afterward.
