We can now realize this wish of our patients. With Digital Smile Design (DSD) we offer our patients a modern method of dental visualization – you will be thrilled! This allows you to make a better decision and/or let your relatives, partners or friends decide.
What to expect
Together with your dentist, you design your new smile directly on the computer in our modern practice. The KU64 specialists plan your dental refurbishment step by step and offer you an optimal care of your dental damage.
STEP BY STEP TO PERFECT SMILE WITH DIGITAL SMILE DESIGN
1. Getting to know & preliminary examination
Extensive remediation of the teeth must be carefully prepared and tailored to the needs of the patients. First, we get to know you and discuss your ideas before starting dental treatment. We take time for your concerns and respond individually to your wishes.
After the personal conversation, a thorough examination is carried out so that your tooth status and your dental health will be closely scrutinized. Depending on your needs, dental X-ray images and models are made of your teeth in order to individually adapt the later measures of dental remediation or embellishment to your tooth profile.
4. Individual wax model
On the next visit, the wax-up is tried and the cosmetic “test drive” can begin. Photos and videos are taken from it so that you can see for yourself how your new smile works. Together with you, we analyse form, colour and overall impression. Changes are made directly at the wax-up until your desired smile is implemented.
2. Personal photo session
We will then take you to our photo studio. In a small photo session, photos are taken of you and your smile. The images are evaluated by the KU64 specialists and dental technicians.
5. Preparing for dental embellishment
Together with you, we discuss the necessary treatment steps and costs as well as possible alternatives. Whether ceramic veneers (also known as veneer shells, tooth attachment shells or ceramic facets), crowns, bridges, inlays, fillings, dentures, teeth whitening or tooth correction by rail – in our KU64 practice we cover the complete dental treatment spectrum in the best quality!
3. Professional Digital Smile Design
In a special procedure, with the help of a professional software, her smile is designed on the computer and confronted with the current situation. The digital smile design result is prepared for you as a wax-up .m.
